Obi Donates Over N90 Million, Vehicles to Boost Development in Agulu Community
The former Governor of Anambra State and Labour Party Presidential Candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, has donated over N90 million and two vehicles to various institutions and initiatives in his hometown of Agulu.

According to Morris Money, a member of the Mr Obi’s media team, the donations, made on Saturday, are aimed at empowering local businesses, boosting skill acquisition, supporting women’s development, and enhancing community security.
Mr. Obi contributed N50 million to the Agulu Microfinance Bank to support Small and Medium-Size Enterprises (SMEs) within the community. He also donated N10 million to the Agulu Skill Acquisition Centre to enhance vocational training for youths and artisans.
In addition, the Agulu Progressive Union (APU) women’s wing received N30 million to strengthen their ongoing community development programs.
To bolster local security efforts, Obi handed over two Innoson pickup trucks to the Agulu Vigilante Service. The vehicles are expected to improve patrol efficiency and the safety of lives and property in the area.
