Retired Police Officers Protest, Demand Better Welfare
The Retired Officers of the Nigeria Police Force are protesting and demanding better welfare packages for serving officers and retired.

Omoyele Sowore, the #RevolutionNow convener who has been clamouring for better welfare packages for the operatives led the protest after weeks of online protest.

Meanwhile, the Spokesperson of the Force, ACP Omuyiwa Adejobi, in a statement on Sunday, assured the security of the protesters, stating that the Police Force was exploring other options, which include using the generated revenue from Police services to provide additional pension benefits and support corporate establishments for Police enhancement initiatives.
