Ohuche References Otti’s Transformational Leadership, Urges Model for Aro Renaissance
Mazi Kanu Ohuche called for the intentional preservation, replication, and promotion of the transformational leadership model established by Governor Alex Otti.

He emphasised the need to use this model as a reference point for what the Arochukwu Kingdom aims to achieve through its theme, “Aro Renaissance.”
Speaking on the topic “Political Renaissance of the Arochukwu Kingdom: Awakening and Mobilizing the Aro for Political Engagement” at the 6th edition of the All Aro National Conference held at the Civic Centre in Oror Arochukwu on Friday, he urged the community to engage in ongoing research focused on the values and strategies that will enhance Aro political participation across all diaspora communities.
He advised the people to conduct themselves with dignity and advocated for greater participation of women in politics, asserting that women’s involvement is crucial for self-mobilisation in any progressive society, whether in political or economic spheres.
Ohuche also called for the establishment of an award committee to honour politicians whose positive contributions have advanced the cause of Aro Political Renaissance, both locally and internationally. He emphasised the importance of initiating conflict resolution models to address ongoing cultural, political, and economic disputes in the community.
He warned that no Aro community can fully capitalise on the opportunities available through increased participation.
Moreover, he urged the community to unite in the fight against cultism, the pursuit of quick wealth, and teenage pregnancy, issues that pose long-term threats to the youth and, subsequently, the community.
