Wike is Here, Wike is There: A New Dawn of Unprecedented Development in the F.C.T. – Evangelist Ndubuisi Biemkpa

Ezenwo Nyesom Wike CON is a Nigerian Politician and Lawyer who has served as the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory since 2023. He previously served as the Governor of Rivers State from 2015 to 2023.

There were several negative reports which surfaced online by some prominent citizens, when Wike was appointed a Minister of F.C.T.

Eze Chukwuemeka, the Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress, contended that President Bola Tinubu appointed Wike as Minister of F.C.T just to punish the residents who voted against him in the 2023 Presidential Election.

There was a report of how his appointment caused problems in PDP, none of their members knew that a PDP member would occupy a sensitive position with an APC Government.

According to the President, some people went as far as telling him not to appoint Wike as a Minister; he ignored them all and remained steadfast with his vision. It has finally paid off.

As a result of these reports, many residents of F.C.T. were living in panic mode, getting prepared for the worst scenario. Many were quick to sell off their properties and relocate to other cities and countries, for fear of the unknown.

Little did we know that those sharing this propaganda were the real enemies of progress, those holding the country down for decades.

In life, it is best to live your own life and also enforce and practice what you believe in, not living according to the dictates of others.

In 2024, when the President was inaugurating some of the multiple projects of the FCT Minister, he said, and I quote, (NYESOM WIKE is the best thing that has happened to his administration. The best Minister in his cabinet, indeed “unquote”.

The relationship between him and the president is like the relationship between a father and a son. It will be very difficult to get a “Political father” who speaks so well of his “Politician son”.
What could be the drive for this massive development of the F.C.T., considering his past as the Governor of Rivers State, he is only living his life and practising what he believes in.

Wike is constructing roads in every nook and cranny of F.C.T., cities, and communities alike. Wike is constructing bridges everywhere, to the standard of London bridges.

Wike is installing street lights, making residents feel at home and secure. Wike has restored the security that was once felt in Abuja in the 80s. Wike is rebuilding parks and plazas to an International standard.
Wike is launching brand new vehicles to serve the F.C.T. residents. Train transport services within the F.C.T. are currently at their best.

F.C.T has never witnessed this kind of development since its inception; nobody even knew that F.C.T Ministers usually control huge resources like this, to the extent of handling hundreds of multi-billion naira projects simultaneously. His works have become an eye-opener for all to see. Even the blind can testify to these massive developments.

F.C.T. Workers/Civil servants are not left out in this joy; their salaries are paid on time, and they are also put on their toes to perform well in their duties.

There’s a small portion of road in Area 3 junction, Garki and also by Garki market, that has always looked bad for close to three decades, that I have lived in the F.C.T., The best, the past administrations could do was to patch, and within a year, the rain will flush them away. Robbery attacks happen there without a trace, because no vehicle can afford to run fast at those junctions, especially at night, giving bad people leverage to perform their operation.
This F.C.T. Minister has repaired it to the International standard.

It is good to criticise Politicians when they err, it is also beautiful to say good things about them when they work in the best interest of citizens.

I have never written so well of any Politician, this is my first. It is good to speak well when good things are seen/felt.
