Shameful Intimidation Act by APC-led Administration – Otunba Babatunde Olushola Senbanjo
By Otunba Babatunde Olushola Senbanjo (BOS)

The recent molestation of Rhodes-Vivour’s aide and the shameful attempts by the APC-controlled forces using police and hired thugs to frustrate the ADC declarations are another glaring example of the ruling party’s desperation ahead of the 2027 elections. This reckless display of intimidation is not just an attack on individuals, but an assault on democracy itself.
For years, Nigerians have endured the high-handedness of the APC, a government that thrives on fear, chaos, and suppression of the people’s will. Their strategy is simple: silence the opposition, unleash violence on dissenters, and manipulate state institutions to entrench themselves in power. But let it be clear Nigerians are no longer afraid.
2027 will not be business as usual. The citizens have tasted enough hardship, insecurity, and abuse of power under the APC’s misrule. No amount of police brutality or thuggery can stop a determined people who are ready to take back their nation. The masses’ will is stronger than the weapon of intimidation, and history has shown that when people rise with one voice, tyrants crumble.
We call on all lovers of democracy to remain vigilant, resilient, and united. The oppression we witness today is a sign of the APC’s fear of losing power. They know their time is up, and they are resorting to violence because they cannot match ideas with ideas, vision with vision, or progress with progress.
Enough is enough. Nigeria belongs to the people, not to a handful of oppressors hiding under the cover of political power. 2027 will mark the end of intimidation politics, and the dawn of a new Nigeria where democracy, justice, and freedom prevail.
