Court Grants Bail to Nnamdi Kanu’s Brother, Lawyer Aloy Ejimakor, and Others
The Kuje Magistrate Court has granted bail to Prince Emmanuel Kanu, the brother of detained IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu, his legal counsel Barrister Aloy Ejimakor, and several others arrested during the #FreeMaziNnamdiKanu protest held on Monday, October 20.

The defendants were apprehended for participating in what was described as a peaceful demonstration demanding the release of Nnamdi Kanu, who remains in custody on charges linked to his role in the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
Presiding over the case, Magistrate Abubakar Umar Sai’Id on Friday approved their bail following their arraignment on allegations of unlawful assembly and disturbance of public peace.
According to the court’s ruling, each of the defendants was granted bail in the sum of ₦500,000, with the condition that they present a verified National Identification Number (NIN).
They are also required to submit their three-year tax clearance certificates and surrender their international passports as part of the bail terms.
