FCT Police Confirm Arrest and Court Appearance of Sammy West, Regina Daniels’ Brother

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has officially addressed the recent arrest and court arraignment of Samuel Ojeogwu, also known as Sammy West, the sibling of actress Regina Daniels.

In a statement on Friday, FCT Police spokesperson, SP Josephine Adeh, revealed that on October 28, the command received a formal petition against Sammy West and three others, accusing them of various offences, including criminal conspiracy, trespass, assault, criminal intimidation, theft, and cyberbullying.

Following the receipt of the petition, several invitations were extended to Mr Ojeogwu by the Metro Area Command for questioning. However, he failed to honour these requests. As a result, an arrest warrant was issued by a competent court, and Sammy West was apprehended in Lagos. He was later transported to Abuja for further investigation.

After the investigation was concluded, Sammy West was formally charged on November 6, 2025, with criminal conspiracy, criminal trespass, assault, criminal intimidation, and theft. The court has remanded him in custody, pending the fulfilment of his bail conditions.
