Sowore Insists Ned Nwoko Married Regina Daniels As a Minor, Cites Passport Age Discrepancy

Human rights activist and politician Omoyele Sowore has insisted that Senator Prince Ned Nwoko married Nollywood actress Regina Daniels when she was underage at the time of their marriage.

In a counterargument on Thursday, Sowore revealed that his team had obtained a copy of Regina Daniels’ international passport, which, according to him, was issued based on her birth certificate.

He alleged that the document shows a different age from what Senator Nwoko has publicly stated, asserting that Daniels was of legal age when they married.

Sowore questioned why the senator, who represents Delta North, would rely on data from an Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) voter’s card to establish her age, noting that the process for obtaining a voter’s card is less rigorous than that of an international passport, which requires official birth records and verified identification.

“The crooked @officialapc senator knew what he was doing; that’s the reason he never travelled with Regina Daniels to Europe or America,” Sowore alleged, suggesting that Nwoko avoided potential scrutiny from immigration authorities abroad.

Sowore’s statement comes after Senator Nwoko shared images of Regina Daniels’ voter’s card showing she was of legal age when they got married.
