Adinuba Debunks Death Rumour, Says Former Governor Obiano Is “Hale and Hearty”

Former Anambra State Commissioner for Information, C. Don Adinuba, has dismissed circulating reports claiming that former Governor Willie Obiano has passed away. Speaking on Friday, Adinuba described the rumours as false, mischievous, and capable of causing needless distress.

He revealed that he had spoken directly with Obiano and confirmed that the former governor is alive, in good health, and currently residing in the United States—not the United Kingdom as alleged in an online report.

“Obiano has never lived in the United Kingdom. He lives in the United States of America. I just spoke with him now,” Adinuba said.

The former commissioner urged the public to disregard the unfounded claims, noting that such misinformation could cause unnecessary anxiety for Obiano’s family, friends, and the people of Anambra State.
