Eze Eberechukwu Oji Launches Four Initiatives to Foster Aro Consciousness
His Eminence Eze Dr Eberechukwu Oji has launched the Arochukwu Business Leaders Forum, the Arochukwu Young Professionals Group, the Arochukwu History and Culture Renaissance Team, and an Aggressive Outreach initiative to all Aro Diaspora Communities worldwide, aiming to shape the consciousness of the people of the Kingdom.

Eze Eberechukwu Oji made this declaration during Aro Day 2025, with the theme: “Aro Day 2025: Honouring our Heroes,” stating that Arochukwu is a Kingdom without boundaries, and that the homecoming is about reconnecting with the roots to strengthen the branches.
He explained that while the Arochukwu Business Leaders Forum will harness the entrepreneurial genius of the people and create economic opportunities benefiting the entire Kingdom, the Arochukwu Young Professionals Group will mentor, connect, and empower young professionals to excel in their chosen careers. The Arochukwu History and Culture Renaissance Team will document, preserve, and promote the rich cultural heritage of the people, while the Aggressive Outreach aims to connect all Aro diaspora communities in Arondizuogu, Ajatakiri, Aroikpa, Lagos, or London, ensuring they stay connected to their homeland.

He called on the people to support these initiatives, as they require more than just a royal proclamation, they demand resources, time, and commitment from every Aro son and daughter to achieve unprecedented progress.
Furthermore, Eze Eberechukwu Oji underscored that honouring 100 distinguished Aro Heroes and Heroines, coinciding with the Centenary Commemoration of Omu-Aro, is well deserved, as they have brought glory to the kingdom and merit collective gratitude from all Umu Aro. He stated that the theme for Aro Day 2026, “Aro Renaissance: the Homecoming Year,” is more than just a slogan; it calls all Aro sons and daughters to return home, not only physically but also in spirit, purpose, and commitment to the kingdom’s rejuvenation.

While praying for the Kingdom, Eze Eberechukwu Oji urged all to pray that the coming year will see investments flow back into the homeland, that unity will become our strength, and that the Aro Renaissance will transform from vision to reality.
Highlight of the Aro Day 2025 was awarding of plaques to 100 heroes and heroines at a dinner party in Alpha Plus Hotel Amuvi, who had contributed immensely to the development of Arochukwu Kingdom.
