ABSU Appoints New Directors for 2025/2026 Academic Session
The management of Abia State University (ABSU), led by Vice Chancellor Prof. Ndukwe J. Okeugo, has approved the appointment of new directors to oversee key units of the institution for the 2025/2026 academic session.

According to a statement by Dr Acho Elendu, the Registrar, the newly appointed directors were selected based on their experience, dedication, and track records of service within the university system.
The Directors include Dr Felix Ike as Director of Academic Planning, Prof. Uzoma Nwokochah as Director of the Business Resource Centre (entrepreneurial), Prof. I. C. Nnorum as Director of the Raw Material Research and Development Council, and Prof. Ebere Ugweje as Director of the Centre for Quality Assurance and Ethics.
Others include; Prof (Mrs) C. I. Nwahunanya as Director of Prim and Non-formal Education, Prof A.C Akpanta as Director for the Centre for Remedial Studies, JUPEB, Dr Mrs) Nkeiruka Ogbuokiri as Director Guidance and Counselling, Dr Chidi Mba as Director Community Relations and Corporate Social Responsibilities, Prof Sunday Eze as Director/ Admissions Officer, Dr Peter Uruakpa as Director Lawn, Parks and Gardens, Prof Levi K. Nwokocha as Director for Division of General Studies, and Dr C. P. Nwadinobi as Director Institute for Information and Communication Service.
