Abia Rejoice Movement Hails Ukwa La Ngwa for Honouring Governor Alex Otti’s Transformational Leadership
The Abia Rejoice Movement has commended the people of Ukwa La Ngwa for what it described as a visionary and well-deserved recognition of the Executive Governor of Abia State, Dr Alex Chioma Otti, in acknowledgement of his impactful and people-focused leadership.

In a statement released on Sunday, the movement said the honour accorded to Governor Otti goes beyond mere ceremony, noting that it represents a sincere endorsement of leadership that delivers tangible results, listens to the people, and prioritises accountability and service.
According to the group, the recognition reflects the visible outcomes of the Otti administration, including strengthened governance structures, renewed commitment to transparency, infrastructural renewal, and policies that place the welfare of citizens at the centre of governance.
“The people of Ukwa La Ngwa have spoken clearly. When leadership is sincere, purposeful, and productive, the people respond,” the statement read.
The movement further noted that at a time when Nigerians are demanding good governance, transparency, and measurable progress, Abia State has emerged as a positive example of what effective leadership can achieve. It described the current administration as a decisive break from the past, ushering in a new era defined by discipline, openness, and genuine public service.
The Abia Rejoice Movement emphasised that the honour bestowed on Governor Otti is not only an endorsement of fulfilled campaign promises but also a celebration of a shared vision for a state where governance truly serves the people, public trust is restored, and progress is evident in everyday life.
“This recognition reaffirms the truth that good governance will always attract unity, recognition, and widespread support,” the group stated.
The movement called on Abians to collectively support, protect, and promote the current trajectory of the state, declaring that Abia is on the rise and that the positive changes are both visible and deeply felt across communities.
“Abia is rising. The people see it. The people feel it. And together, we rejoice because the future is bright,” the statement concluded.
