Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu Becomes Abia APC Leader
Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu has become the leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abia State, strengthening his influence within the party’s structure in the South-East.
Kalu, who currently serves as Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of Nigeria, was endorsed by key party stakeholders and leaders across Abia during a high-level meeting in Bende LGA.
His emergence followed a motion introduced by former Senator Nkechi Nwaogu, representing Abia Central Senatorial District, and seconded by Chris Nkwonta, the member representing Ukwa East and Ukwa West Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.
