Just-In: Uzor Kalu Sends Two Abia North Youths to China

Two constituents from Abia North Senatorial District are currently in China participating in a specialised cybersecurity training programme, courtesy of Senator Orji Uzor Kalu representing the Abia North Senatorial District.

The beneficiaries, Iheanyi Ebony Inyamah from Arochukwu Local Government Area and Okorie Dandy Chukwu from Bende Local Government Area, were selected through an initiative facilitated by Kalu’s office.

According to the former Abia State Governor, the programme is part of ongoing efforts to equip young people in the district with relevant digital skills and global exposure.

Kalu stated that the training aligns with his broader commitment to youth empowerment and human capital development across Abia North. He noted that the initiative complements other educational opportunities already secured for constituents abroad.

According to the senator, several students from the district are currently studying Medicine and Surgery in institutions across South America and Europe. Others are pursuing postgraduate degrees, including MBA and PhD programmes, in China, while many more continue their studies in various higher institutions within Nigeria.

He reaffirmed his dedication to expanding access to quality education and international learning opportunities, emphasising the importance of preparing youths for a competitive global economy.

Kalu added that such investments in education and skills development remain central to his vision for sustainable growth in Abia North, urging beneficiaries to make the most of the opportunities provided.
