Ohuhu Welfare Union, Lagos Branch Celebrates Mayor Lucky Igbokwe’s Birthday, Commends His Commitment to Community Development
The Ohuhu Welfare Union, Lagos Branch, has congratulated renowned philanthropist and community leader, Mayor Lucky Igbokwe, popularly known as Don Lulu, on the occasion of his birthday, describing him as a shining example of selfless service and a steadfast advocate for the progress of Ohuhu land.

In a goodwill message dated June 26, 2026, and signed by the General Secretary of the Union, Itite Obinna Godwin, the Executive Committee and the entire membership of the association lauded Mayor Igbokwe for his unwavering support and remarkable contributions to the growth and development of Ohuhu, particularly the Umuawa community in the Umuahia North Local Government Area of Abia State.
According to the Union, Mayor Igbokwe has consistently demonstrated exceptional commitment to the welfare of the Ohuhu people through his vision, generosity, and dedication to community advancement.
The Union noted that his interventions and goodwill have continued to inspire hope among the people, describing him as “a son who truly has his people at heart” and a reference point for selfless service to his roots.
While celebrating his new age, the Ohuhu Welfare Union prayed to God to bless Mayor Igbokwe with long life, sound health, increased wisdom, and greater opportunities to attract more development to Umuawa and the entire Ohuhu nation.
The Union further expressed confidence that his leadership and commitment would continue to unite and inspire the people while advancing the collective aspirations of Ohuhu communities.
It wished him a joyful celebration, stating that the entire Ohuhu nation remains proud to call Mayor Lucky Igbokwe one of its distinguished sons.
“Happy Birthday, Mayor Lucky Igbokwe. Chukwu Gọzie Gị,” the statement read.
