Orji Felicitates Muslims on Eid-el-Maulud, Urges Peace, Unity

Former Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly and APC candidate for Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji, has extended warm greetings to Muslims across Nigeria as they celebrate Eid-el-Maulud, calling for greater commitment to peace, unity and peaceful coexistence.

In a goodwill message, Orji described the commemoration of the birth of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) as an opportunity to reflect on the values of compassion, humility, justice, tolerance and love for one another.

He urged Nigerians to continue promoting mutual respect across religious and cultural divides, stressing that unity and peaceful coexistence remain essential to building a stronger, more prosperous and inclusive nation.

Orji also prayed for peace and blessings in communities and families, while asking Almighty Allah to grant Nigeria wisdom, progress and lasting peace.

He wished Muslim faithful a peaceful and blessed celebration, saying: “Eid-el-Maulud Mubarak!”

On this blessed occasion of Eid-el-Maulud, I extend my warmest greetings and best wishes to all our Muslim brothers and sisters.

As we commemorate the birth of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), may his life and teachings continue to inspire us to uphold peace, compassion, humility, justice, tolerance, and love for one another.

As a people and as a nation, we must continue to promote unity, peaceful coexistence, and mutual respect across our religious and cultural differences. These values are essential to building a stronger, more prosperous, and inclusive society for all.
