BREAKING: INEC Publishes Hon. Chidi Nnamdi as ZLP Candidate for Obingwa/Osisioma/Ugwunagbo

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has published Hon. Chidi Nnamdi as the candidate of the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) for the Obingwa/Osisioma/Ugwunagbo Federal Constituency in the 2027 General Elections.

The development follows the expiration of the window for political parties to substitute candidates’ names ahead of the elections.

The publication of Nnamdi’s name marks another significant step in his political campaign to represent the constituency at the House of Representatives.

In a statement issued by his media team, Nnamdi said his candidacy is driven by a commitment to provide purposeful, people-oriented and result-driven representation to the people of Obingwa, Osisioma and Ugwunagbo.

According to the statement, Nnamdi intends to give the constituency a stronger voice at the Green Chamber, attract a meaningful federal presence, and champion projects that directly improve constituents’ lives.

The campaign also pledged to ensure that the needs and aspirations of the three local government areas receive greater attention at the federal level.

“The people deserve representation that listens, speaks for them and delivers,” the statement said, describing Nnamdi as a candidate offering hope for a more responsive and accountable representation in 2027.

The statement further urged voters across Obingwa, Osisioma and Ugwunagbo to support the ZLP candidate, declaring that “the journey has begun” and “the time for change is now.”

Nnamdi is seeking election to the House of Representatives under the platform of the Zenith Labour Party in the 2027 General Elections.
