Police Arrest Two Over Robbery in Anambra State
The Anambra State Police Command has arrested two armed robberies, 19-year-old Stanley Okafor and 21-year-old Benedict Sunday for attacking and snatching a Tricycle from it are the owners.
The Anambra State Police Command has arrested two armed robberies, 19-year-old Stanley Okafor and 21-year-old Benedict Sunday for attacking and snatching a Tricycle from its owner.
The police spokesperson, Haruna Mohammed disclosed on Tuesday that following a distress call, the Police operatives attached to the Central Police Station(CPS) Awka in conjunction with local vigilante group arrested the two suspects at Parkers, Ziks Avenue, Awka on Monday.
It was gathered that the suspects allegedly attacked and snatched the tricycle at gunpoint while two locally-made firearms and other incriminating items were recovered from the suspects.
Meanwhile, suspects have confessed to the crime as the investigation is ongoing to bring justice.
