Three Arrested Over Cultism in Anambra State
At about 7 pm on the 16th of April, 2021, Police Operatives attached to the Anti-cultism unit of the Command, arrested three suspects over cultism.
At about 7 pm on the 16th of April, 2021, Police Operatives attached to the Anti-cultism unit of the Command, arrested three suspects over cultism.

The suspects include 23-year-old Chinedu Aniegbunam, 17-year-old Okoye Tochukwu and 23-year-old Okechuwu Chijioke.

According to the Anambra State Police Public Relation Officer, DSP Ikenga Tochukwu, the suspects were arrested by police operatives on “patrol who flagged down the suspects when they drove suspiciously along Nise route. They all voluntarily confessed to being members of Payton Confraternity.”
Some of the exhibits recovered from them include one English-made pistol, one locally-made pistol, five live cartridges and two motorcycles.
All suspects will be charged to court after the investigations.
