The Government of Abia State has started palliative work at the Aba-Port Harcourt expressway.
The Government of Abia State has started extensive work at the Aba-Port Harcourt expressway.

In a statement made available to newsmen by the State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Barrister Eze Chikamnayo stated that this was part of the efforts of the Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu to create easy movement between Abia and Rivers State.
Part of the statement reads, “This is part of the effort of the People’s Governor, Dr Okezie Victor Ikpeazu to support easy movement between Abia and Rivers State and create a better life for our people.”
The statement also reassured Abians of the determination of the administration led by Governor Ikpeazu to provide security and welfare for all.
“Government wishes to reassure all Abians everywhere that Governor Ikpeazu is leaving no stone unturned in his determination to provide for the security and welfare of Abia Citizens both within this Christmas period and beyond.”
