Notorious ESN Commander ‘Gentle Yahoo’ Arrested by Military in Imo State

Security operatives have arrested a notorious commander of the Eastern Security Network (ESN), identified as Ifeanyi Eze Okorienta, popularly known as “Gentle Yahoo”, at his hideout in Aku-Ihube, Okigwe Local Government Area of Imo State.

The arrest, confirmed by military sources, is seen as a major breakthrough in the ongoing crackdown on criminal elements linked to the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and its armed wing, ESN, in the South East.

Gentle Yahoo is responsible for a series of violent attacks, including the recent killing of two of his own gang members in a now-viral video, as well as the brutal murder of family members of a local vigilante leader in Okigwe.

“He is building a hotel and owns a filling station. So, he has been laundering his criminal proceeds into future investments.”

Authorities have assured the public that the suspect will face the full weight of the law as investigations continue.
