Just-In: Court Dismisses Kachikwu’s Suit Against ADC
The Federal High Court has dismissed a suit filed by Dumebi Kachikwu and others challenging issues relating to the leadership and membership structure of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

In its ruling, the court held that matters concerning internal party leadership and membership are internal affairs of a political party and therefore non-justiciable.
In a statement by Bolaji Abdullahi, the National Publicity Secretary of the ADC, on Friday, the party called on interested Nigerians to register and become members through its online platform, adcregistration.ng, as it works toward building a stronger political alternative capable of putting the country back on track.
The suit filed by Kachikwu and other plaintiffs had sought the court’s intervention in matters concerning the party’s internal structure, but the court ruled that such issues fall within the party’s own jurisdiction.
