Wow! Abducted School Girl Who Was Forcefully Converted To Islam Regains Freedom
Parmata Abdulkarim Misari, a pupil of the Government Secondary School Kongo, Zaria, Kaduna State, that was allegedly abducted on the 20th of July, 2018, and converted to Islam, has been freed.
It was gathered that Parmata, a JSS 3 student, went missing from the boarding house and the school authorities claimed ignorance.

Her parents, Mr. Abdulkarim and Mrs. Hauwa Misari, however, sought the intervention of the Kaduna State Police Commissioner an investigation revealed that a matron in the school had lied to the girl that her mom was sick and she needed to go home.

However, on getting to the school’s gate, a man was told to take her home with his motorcycle, but the man, instead, took her to the village head of Tukur-Tukur, Zaria.
Upon getting there, the village head, the district head, and some other Islamic leaders were said to have detained her, converted her to Islam, changed her name from Parmata to Fatima, kept her with them and were homeschooling her as a new convert.
But on the 15th of August, 2018, at about 9:30 pm the police eventually uncovered the girl‘s whereabouts. It was discovered that Parmata was kept in the custody of the village head’s wife, who barely fed her one meal per day.
She has since been reunited with her parents, but unfortunately, she missed her exams and is likely to repeat the class.
She is currently undergoing some rehabilitation and receiving medical treatment, while the culprits have also been arrested.
