Man Acquitted Of Rape After Five Years

A man has been acquitted of rape after 5 years. The man was accused of rape by a girl who was just a friend to him and who has now spoken up and confessed to his innocence.

This was made known by a lawyer who was in Court and shared the story on her Twitter account.

Today was such a painful day at court. This guy was arrested in 2014 and charged with rape. The guy was released on bail after spending some time in custody. The “victim” made a statement saying the guy was no longer giving her attention, so she laid false charges against him.

The case was a mid trial, however, the prosecution stopped proceedings as per the victim’s confession. I just hope they charge her with perjury. The guy cried so much, tears of relief. Imagine if he had appeared before a “subjective” magistrate 💔

There are MANY women who are cruel out there. It was just too painful. These people were not even dating, they were just friends.

Update: they are planning to charge her with perjury. The state was waiting for her to make another affidavit (The one where she confesses about her lies). I just hope she gets a lengthy sentence. She informed the state that she is HIV+ now and wants to clear her conscience before she dies. This guy has been paying his attorney since 2014/15 to date. Emotionally it was worse. Many people were so hurt.

This will not be the first time that a person will be wrongfully accused of rape. The case of footballer Neymar and others comes to mind.
