Following the violation of COVID-19 directives by Singer Azeez Fashola popularly known as NairaMarley, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has vowed to prosecute the singer and all attendees.

He made this known in a statement through his Chief Press Secretary, Anthony Ogunleye on Tuesday, June 16, the minister said, “the FCT Administration views the actions of the organisers and attendees at this concert as reckless, wicked, insensitive and utter disrespect and disregard both for the law and the wellbeing and welfare of fellow citizens.”

He also added that the FCT Administration which has a responsibility to protect the lives of the citizenry is determined to prosecute all those involved in orchestrating these infractions to the full extent of the law.
Recall that the company Execujet was suspended for conveying the singer to Abuja, they responded by apologizing and stating that they didn’t know the jet was for a ‘bunch of useless people’.
Nairamarley retaliated by saying that he and his people will never use his services again and that the company knew they were flying him and even begged him for a retweet.
