Artist identified as Arinze Stanley is allegedly on the verge of losing his eyes over police brutality in Port Harcourt.

Arinze who visited Port Harcourt for the first time took to Twitter to recount his encounter with the Nigerian Police.
He didn’t reveal what led to the altercation when our reporter reached out to him as at the time of this report.
Arinze also disclosed how the policemen all kept mute when he tried to get the identity of the man who committed the crime against him.
Read his post below;
“Yesterday was my first day in Port Harcourt and there’s already a 50/50 chance that I’m going to be blind on my right eye because of the Nigerian police. I went to the police to report as late as 10pm.. As I type this with my left eye that has only begun to function, the police man that did this hasn’t been arrested.. His colleagues who were with him have refused to give out his identity. The area command that I went to report this case has done absolutely nothing!
I don’t even know who to tag on this issue. This is the second time I’m feeling this helpless after force brutality.”
However, the Nigerian populace have been calling for the reform of the police force and end of the Special Anti-Response Squad, SARS, over the high rate of brutality and killing in the country.
