Suspected Human Trafficker Arrested, Victims Rescued in Ogun State
Two underaged girls identified as 15-year-old Blessing Adurotola and 16-year-old Hasisat Fasasi has been rescued from a suspected human trafficker, Comfort Innocent, by the Ogun State Police Command.

According to the command’s spokesman, Abimbola Oyeyemi, the 35-year-old suspect was arrested following a complaint by the victims’ mothers. She was arrested while allegedly trying to traffick the girls to Libya for prostitution.
The suspect was reported to have confessed to the crime while explaining that she had been in the business of recruiting young girls for prostitution in connivance with her husband, who resides in Italy.

Oyeyemi disclosed that the two victims were rescued in Kaduna State by the Police.
The PPRO said the suspect would be transferred to the anti-human trafficking and child labour unit of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department on the order of the Commissioner of Police, Mr Edward Ajogun.
