Enough of Bad Governance in Ogun State – Otunba Babatunde Olushola Senbanjo

Fellow citizens of Ogun State, the time has come to speak the truth without fear or favour. Since the emergence of Prince Dapo Abiodun and the APC government in our beloved state, what we have experienced is nothing short of disappointment, neglect, and endless propaganda.

Year after year, the government makes promises that never materialise. Roads across our communities remain death traps. Infrastructure has collapsed, with no meaningful projects to point to. Schools and hospitals are in shambles, while workers and youths continue to suffer under the weight of neglect. The agricultural sector, which should be the pride and backbone of Ogun State, lies in ruins due to a lack of support and vision.

What has this government truly achieved since assuming power? Apart from photo opportunities, borrowed projects, and empty speeches, there is nothing tangible to show for their years in office. The people of Ogun State deserve better than propaganda. We deserve leaders who will act, not just promise.

Today, hunger and poverty have become widespread in our land. Families struggle to feed, businesses are suffocating, and our youth are left jobless and hopeless. The so-called “development agenda” of the APC government has turned out to be nothing more than a mirage. Instead of progress, we are confronted daily with hardship and frustration.

Enough is enough. Ogun State cannot continue like this. We cannot afford another wasted four years of failed leadership. Our people are tired of promises without action, of government without direction, and of leaders without vision.

Come 2027, a new dawn must rise in Ogun State. It is time for true transformation, people-centred governance, and leadership that genuinely cares about the welfare of the citizens. Together, we must rise against this era of failed governance and demand accountability.

Ogun State deserves leaders who will prioritise empowerment, infrastructure, education, healthcare, and economic revival. We deserve leaders who will put the people first, not themselves.

The future of Ogun State is in our hands. Let us unite, let us rise, and let us say with one voice: No more empty promises. No more failed leadership. It is time for transformation. 2027 is our year of change.
