Autopsy Reveals Corps Member Was Strangled to Death in Police Cell
An autopsy has revealed that the corps member Ifeoma Stella Abugu who died in police custody was strangled to death.
An autopsy has revealed that the corps member Ifeoma Stella Abugu who died in police custody was strangled to death.

The police who were on illegal operation stumbled into the house of Ifeoma’s fiance, Mr Afam Ugwunwa in Abuja on the 20th of September 2020.
On not seeing the suspect, they quickly arrested his fiance who was on a visit and she died in their custody the next day.

The police argued that she died of drug abuse but the autopsy revealed that she died due to lack of oxygen and also her private part was mutilated.
The court has also advised that her body should be released to the family for burial.
Meanwhile, the police have refused to identify the policemen who made the arrest.
