Ushie Rita: ‘May Nigeria Produce Daughters Like Raye’ – Ezekwesili
Obiageli Ezekwesili, an economic policy expert, has stated that Nigeria should produce bold daughters and sons like youth corper Ushie Rita Uguamaye, who described President Bola Tinubu as “terrible” due to the current economic situation in the country.
Obiageli Ezekwesili, an economic policy expert, has stated that Nigeria should produce bold daughters and sons like youth corper Ushie Rita Uguamaye, who described President Bola Tinubu as “terrible” due to the current economic situation in the country.

Speaking on Tuesday, the former Minister of Solid Minerals highlighted that Ushie Rita used her voice to assess Nigeria’s economic state.
“May Nigeria produce more daughters and sons like the bold Youth Corp member of NYSC – Raye- who know and courageously use the Power of their Voice to evaluate and give a score of between Terrible and Terrific to our Political and Public Leaders. Amen.”

Raye criticized President Tinubu for the high cost of living in the country. She mentioned that, as a corps member receiving a monthly allowance of N33,000, despite the government’s promise of a new minimum wage, her earnings are insufficient to cover her living expenses, as prices for goods and services have tripled.
She urged Nigerians to join her in a #30dayrantchallenge to draw attention to the plight of citizens across the country.
