Basic Details of FUTO’s First-Ever Female Vice-Chancellor
Mrs Nnenna Nnannaya Oti has emerged as the 8th substantive Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology Owerri, Imo State.
Mrs Nnenna Nnannaya Oti has emerged as the 8th substantive Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology Owerri, Imo State.
Prof Nnenna will take over from Prof. Francis Eze in June 2021 who was appointed in March 2016.
Prof Oti is a Prof of Soil Science & Environmental conservation with over 34 yrs in academics with international exposure, currently on her 2nd tenure as Dean of Post Graduate school & a 3-time HOD soil science and Technology, SAAT, FUTO.
She was the best graduating student with a 1st class honours in Soil Science, UNN, 1982.
Born in Afikpo North, Ebonyi state and married to Dr Nnannaya Oti and blessed three children.
Prof Oti also makes history as the 1st ever Female VC of FUTO.
