Femi Fani Kayode has condemned the action of the National Broadcasting Commission for sanctioning Channels Television.

ChannelsTv interviewed the spokesman of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra, IPOB, Emma Powerful on the program ‘Sunday politics’ which was anchored by Seun Okinaloye few hours after the killing of the Second Commander Ikosun.
FFK stated that the suspension was unacceptable in a democracy.

“It is wrong for NBC to sanction @channelstv simply because they allowed the spokesman of IPOB, Mr. Emma Powerful, to answer some pertinent and vital questions about the attack on the home of the Governor of Imo state. Censorship of the media is unacceptable in a democracy.”
