Orji Police Attack: Police Arrest Man Masquerading as Unknown Gunman
The Imo Police Command have arrested another suspect, a 32-year-old Chukwumakpa Henry that participated in the attack of the Orji Police Station on 25th May, 2021.
The Imo Police Command have arrested another suspect, a 32-year-old Chukwumakpa Henry that participated in the attack of the Orji Police Station on 25th May, 2021 and also masquerading as unknown gunmen.
It was gathered that the suspect who hails from Iho, Ikeduru Local Government Area of the State but resident in Orji, was arrested by the Command’s Quick Response Team on the 2nd of June, 2021.
A press release by the Police Public Relation Officer, Bala Elkana, revealed that the suspect was arrested in his hideout at Ikeduru Local Government Area following an intelligence report.
The report also disclosed that he was involved in other heinous crimes and particularly a member of the criminal gang parading as unknown gunmen.
Also recovered from him was some grams of a substance suspected to be cocaine.
Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police, Abutu Yaro commended the operation while assuring that investigation are currently ongoing and afterwards, the suspect will be charged to court.
