Oodua Republic Agitators Defy Police, Hold Mega Rally

Defying Policemen, agitators of Oodua Republic staged a mega rally at the Gani Fawehinmi Park in Lagos State on Saturday.

The agitators who kept shouting “No going back” said they were determined to get their Oodua Republic.

The self-acclaimed leader Sunday Adeyemo popularly known as Sunday Igboho who has been declared wanted by the DSS was absent at the rally but made it clear that despite the witch hunt by the Department of Secret Service, the rally will go on.

The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu who led policemen on a show of force on Friday, addressed the agitators stating that Nigerians have the right to protest and that their presence was to be conscious and proactive.

Traditional worshippers adorned in white were also seen at the venue.
