UNIZIK Lecturer Flogs Students for Not Wearing Ankara

A lecturer of the Department of Economics in Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Dr Olisa Mmaduka has injured a student whom he flogged for not wearing Ankara to class.

In the trending heartbreaking video, the female student showed the marks caused by the lecturer who used a pipe to flog them.

Eyewitness reports that the lecturer entered the classroom and started slapping, flogging the students for not wearing ankara material to the class.

“He came into class and he started flogging students anyhow. He even slapped another girl. Seized phones and shoes. Simply because we didn’t wear Ankara and today is the first time he’s saying it to our class.”

Some former students of the school, in tweets, stated that the act of flogging students have been going on in the school for some time as the management of the school has refused to do anything about the assault.
