Jos Crisis: Imo Govt Rescues Stranded Students
Owing to the crisis ravaging the city of Jos, the capital of Plateau State, the Imo State Government has evacuated Imolites studying in the various institutions across the state.

Owing to the crisis ravaging the city of Jos, the capital of Plateau State, the Imo State Government has evacuated Imolites studying in the various institutions across the state.
Following a diplomatic channel established by the state government with her Plateau counterpart, the students were reached out to and appropriate protocols observed prior to the rescue operation.

The State Government therefore wish to reiterate her commitment towards the security of all lives and properties of Imolites (home and away).
Currently, the Governors of Abia, Enugu and Ebonyi have evacuated students of State origin from the University of Jos, Plateau State over the crisis.
