Boy Commits Suicide After Father Refuses Marriage
An 18-year-old boy Abdullahi Tasi’u has taken his own life after his father refused to get a wife for him in Katsina State.
An 18-year-old boy Abdullahi Tasi’u has taken his own life after his father refused to get a wife for him in Katsina State.

The young man who was an SS3 student if Kafur Secondary School in the same State had pressured his father to marry a girl whom he was in love with for him.
But the father time him to be patient and finish his secondary education before venturing into marriage.

The deceased became angry and decided to take his life. He called his father and threatened to commit suicide if he fails to get the wife for him.
It was gathered that the young man was discovered in his room after he reportedly drank a poisonous substance, he was rushed to the hospital but was already dead.
Meanwhile, his 16-year-old girlfriend, Hafsat attempted suicide on hearing about the death of her boyfriend but was unsuccessful following the intervention of family members.
