Months After, Police Release Girl Accused of Being Member of IPOB
After more than four months, the Nigerian Police has released 21-year-old Glory Okolie who was accused of being a member of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.
After more than four months, the Nigerian Police has released 21-year-old Glory Okolie who was accused of being a member of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.

Glory was arrested by the team of suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police, DCP Abba Kyari in 2021 and has been in the police custody.

Glory was denied access to her family members and lawyers until the intervention of human rights activist, Harrison Gwamnishu.

Announcing the freedom of Gloria, Harrison wrote, “FREEDOM AT LAST
More than four months in custody, Glory Okolie has been released from prison custody.
Glory okolie was accused of terrorism and being member of IPOB by IGP IRT headed then by Abba Kyari.
