A Federal High Court sitting in Gusau has again nullified the People’s Democratic Party’s Governorship primary election in Zamfara State which produced Dauda Lawal Dare.
The presiding Judge Justice Aminu Bappa stated that the PDP can not field a Governorship candidate for the 2023 general election.
In September 2022, the court also nullified the PDP governorship primary election citing irregularities.
It stated that women were not present as delegates which caused the party to conduct fresh primaries which also saw Dauda Dare as its governorship candidate with 400 votes.
