Tragic: Criminals Invade Abakiliki, Burns Shops

A group of criminals enforcing sit-at-home orders in Ebonyi State burnt shops at Isheke on Monday 12th December 2022 in the capital city of Abakaliki Monday morning.

The hoodlums attacked the Isheke market in Isheke Local Government Area of Ebonyi State on the orders of the defunct apostle of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Simon Ekpe.

Similarly, the gunmen on tricycles equally attacked the Afia Uhuru market in Ezza North LGA, of Ebonyi state.

Three shops were reported to have been set ablaze while three persons have been reportedly killed.

So far, residents have fled the streets and taken safety as the tension in the land brews.

Recall that Simon Ekpa who lives in Finland and is an apostle of the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu had declared a sit-at-home from 9th to 12th of December 2022.
