Breaking! Taraba HoR Member-Elect Maihanchi Dies

The Taraba State House of Representatives member-elect for Jalingo/Yorro/ Zing Federal Constituency, Hon. Isma’ila Yushua Maihanchi, has died.

It was gathered that Maihanchi died in the early hours of Saturday after a brief illness at an undisclosed hospital in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

Reports say the late member-elect will be buried according to the Islamic rites today at the national cemetery in Abuja.

Meanwhile, the spokesperson of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Andeta’rang Irammae, said “Shortly after the election, the member-elect fell sick and has been receiving medical treatment in Abuja.”
