Palliative: Two Nasarawa University Students Die from Stampede
Two students of Nasarawa State University have died while others sustained injuries over a stampede that resulted from rice palliative which was to be shared with the students by Governor Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule.
Two students of Nasarawa State University have died while others sustained injuries over a stampede that resulted from rice palliative which was to be shared with the students by Governor Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule.

It was gathered that Governor Sule was billed to present an opening speech to the event. The place which was barricaded was suddenly opened by the hungry students.

They forcefully gained access to the Convocation Square in desperate attempt to get 10KG Bag of Rice and N5000 meant to be shared to each student as part of Nasarawa State Government Palliatives to Students to cushion the effect of the economic crisis on.
The injured students were taken to the Federal Medical Center, Keffi, for treatment as the school clinic staffs was reported to be on Strike due to unpaid salaries.
