The Spokesperson of Peter Obi/Datti Ahmed’s Presidential campaign, Kenneth Okonkwo, has debunked reports of rejoining the ruling All Progressive Congress APC, calling it fake news.
In a post on X on Thursday, the Nollywood Veteran who resigned his membership of the Labour Party a few days ago did not disclose the party he will be joining.
“My attention has been drawn to an online news, circulating that Kenneth Okonkwo has returned to APC. I have two words in reply, “fake news.””

Barrister Okonkwo had resigned his membership of the Labour Party, accusing the National Chairman of the Party, Julius Abure, of trying to use the party as a cash cow instead of positioning the party in preparation for the 2027 elections.
He stated that his aim of joining politics was for good governance but can no longer be achieved through the Labour Party as presently constituted and so will chart a new course.
