NAF Resolves Clash Between Personnel and Police Officers in Warri
The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has addressed the altercation between its personnel and police officers in Warri, Delta State, on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, confirming that the issue has been resolved.

In a statement released on Thursday, Air Vice Marshal Olusola Akinboyewa, NAF’s Director of Public Relations and Information, stated that the commander of the affected NAF unit had engaged with relevant police authorities in Delta State to improve inter-agency understanding.
The statement also noted that the injured police officers have received medical treatment, and the NAF personnel involved are undergoing disciplinary action according to military regulations.

“As a professional and disciplined force, the NAF remains committed to maintaining the highest standards of conduct and fostering harmonious relationships with sister agencies in the collective pursuit of national security and public safety,” the statement read.
The NAF assured that measures are being implemented to prevent similar incidents in the future and called for continued public support and understanding.
