“Barr Chijioke Edeoga, former Enugu State Labour Party governorship candidate has arrived the Enugu State PDP headquarters in Enugu as he formally rejoins the party.”

Barrister Edeoga had challenged the declaration of Governor Mbah as the winner of the March 18, 2023 Governorship election. He contested Mbah’s submission of a fake certificate of the National Youth Service Corps NYSC and the irregularities such as over voting seen in many local government.
His petition was dismissed by the Enugu State Petition Tribunal as it ruled that the NYSC certificate was not a mandatory criteria for gubernatorial election.
