The Chief Executive Officer of EduCare, Alex Onyia, has announced that he has received a formal invitation from the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) to lead an independent and transparent review of the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

The review session is scheduled to take place on Thursday, and Onyia has pledged to conduct a thorough assessment of the examination process, with a promise to share his findings publicly afterward.

“If you have been troubled, keep calm. I’m hopeful that something positive will come out of it,” Onyia wrote in a statement shared on social media. “You burnt candles, had sleepless nights, had high hopes. We will not fail you!”
The development comes amid rising concerns from candidates and parents over the conduct and outcome of the 2025 UTME, with many calling for review of marking sheets.
