Police Raid Black Spots, Arrest Six Suspected Cultists
Anambra State Police have arrested six suspected cultists, including a female, and recovered one fabricated Beretta pistol without a magazine and quantities of illicit drugs, including Mkpuru Mmiri (crystal meth), during a raid.
According to SP Tochukwu Ikenga on Wednesday, Operatives attached to the Special Anti-Cultism Squad Enugwu Ukwu on 12th August 2025 at about 2.30 pm and acting on credible intelligence, stormed a black spot at 7th Mile, Ogidi, Idemili North LGA.
The suspects include 21-year-old Olisaemeka Izuchukwu, 22-year-old Isioma Chisom aged 22 years, 20-year-old Chinonso Izuchukwu, 24-year-old Chinaza Isioma, 19-year-old Onyekwelu Miracle, all male and 35-year-old Mrs. Chinenye Eloka Okeke.
The suspects would be charged in court on the conclusion of the investigations.
