Breaking! Otti Receives Okochukwu into the Labour Party
Governor Dr. Alex Otti has welcomed the former Deputy Governor of Abia State, Rt. Hon. Ude Okochukwu, to the Labour Party just days after he left the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
During a warm reception held in Nkporo, Ohafia Local Government Area of Abia State on Saturday, Governor Otti conveyed that the Acting National Chairman of the Labour Party, Senator Nenadi Usman Yusuf, had requested a warm welcome for Okochukwu.
In his remarks, Sir Okochukwu emphasised that his long-standing involvement in politics and his decision to join the Labour Party reflect the positive impact of the Governor’s work in the state.
The event was attended by several distinguished guests, including the Deputy Governor, Chief Ikechukwu Emetu, former Secretary of Abia State, Eme Okoro, former Ohafia Local Government Chairman, Comrade O’Brien Iroh, Kalu Anthony, Adaeze Iroegbu, members of the Etitiama-Nkporo Women, and other prominent stakeholders.
