Breaking: ADC NEC Acknowledges Suspension of Don Norman Obinna
The National Executive Committee (NEC) of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has officially acknowledged the receipt of the suspension of Don Norman Obinna, the former Chairman of the Party in Abia State.
The acknowledgement signed on the 28th of August, 2025 follows an internal communication from the party leadership regarding disciplinary actions taken against Obinna. 
The party had, in a harmonisation meeting on the 22nd of August, suspended the former State party chairman in a unanimous decision following a petition which accused him of misconduct, high-handedness and disregard for party principles.
Meanwhile, a Disciplinary committee set up by the zonal organ of the party is already looking into the suspension, while Mr Obinna Don Norman has been invited to appear before the committee.
