Bimbo Ademoye Cries Out After Man Pirated Movie ‘Where Love Lives’ and Soundtrack Causing Demonetization

Nollywood actress Bimbo Ademoye has publicly raised an alarm over the alleged piracy of her latest movie ‘Where Love Lives’ by a man identified as Emmanuel Davis.

According to Ademoye, Davis (Lagos Sound on Spotify and YouTube) titled her new movie ‘Where Love Lives’ as ‘This Feeling’, and uploaded the film to his YouTube channel without permission, resulting in YouTube demonetising her official content.

In addition, she claims that a soundtrack from the movie was also taken and distributed on Spotify and other digital platforms, further infringing on her intellectual property.

Crying, Ademoye called for urgent action to protect her work and prevent the continued unauthorised use of her creative content.

“I woke up to monetisation on our movie where love lives being taken down. A song I have full ownership of, a track I fully own with full approval from the artist, was lifted and claimed by one Emmanuel Davies.

Not only did he steal MY SONG, but he also claimed copyrights and took monetisation, which means he’s claiming the money from the movie belongs to him. I’m not an irresponsible person; I do not take what doesn’t belong to me. I do all my findings before uploading a movie. I pay for all the soundtracks I use in my movie.

This is me saying, Emmanuel Davies, until I see you behind bars, I will not rest. I’d let the authorities do their job.”
